Our little monkey is just that...a little monkey! Luke is into absolutely everything, taking out a clean (okay maybe not clean, but neat), room like a tornado takes out a trailer. He can turn the pro shop upside down in a matter of seconds, knocking over golf clubs, spilling balls and dumping sugar packets and swizzle sticks across the floor. If I turn my back for more than a second, it is a sure bet that when I turn around, he'll have done something he shouldn't have.
Luke definitely keeps me busy these days and I swear I don't sit down until he's in bed at night. Let's see...he climbed out of the bath tub the other day by himself; we were in the kitchen today and I turned around and he was sitting on the second shelf of our pantry. I could go on...More often than not, he gets himself into something then can't figure out how to get out. I heard him yelling the other day but couldn't see him. I finally found him stuck in the middle of his easle. Mom to the rescue!
I am absolutely terrified that he's going to hurt himself and have seriously considered having him wear a helmet during his waking hours. Nonetheless, I remain both impressed and entertained at his creativity and fearlessness. I guess I shouldn't be so surprised or worried. After all, his mama did fall 25 feet out of a tree and lived to tell about it..It was all fun and games until he realized he couldn't stand up or get out!I still have no clue how he got up here...
I guess an adventurous spirit runs in the family!
