Summer Fun!

It's been really warm here the last week or so and we've really been enjoying the heat! On Saturday we took the boys out to an annual flea market at a local fruit stand where the boys enjoyed some icecream and music.

Daddy and the boys had a water fight in the yard on Sunday afternoon.

Tripp really enjoyed himself.

Really.

I finally got the new dslr camera that I've been wanting forever and am having fun snapping shots of the boys and learning how to use all of it's cool features. I couldn't resist taking pictures of them playing in the front yard today. Tripp absolutely loves splashing through the water.

They both had suckers they were dragging around the yard. Who knows how much filth they ingested today. Probably about the same as usual if I'm honest.

My dad used to always tell the same bad joke. It started out good: "You want to hear a dirty joke?" The answer to that question is always yes! Unfortunately, he followed it up with the punchline: "A white horse fell in a mud puddle." Well today, a white boy jumped in a mud puddle and I've got the pictures to prove it!

Splash pad and 4th of July!

This was our first real week of summer weather so we took full advantage. Last year Tripp was only a couple months old so he didn't get to play in the fountain down in Pateros. He sure loves it now though and is actually braver than his big brother!

Quinny and Tripp!

We finally had a day off that we could spend as a family so we took the boys to the boat house in Chelan where they played in the sand and water all day with their cousins. It was a great way to spend the 4th!

Happy 4th of July!

Soccer Camp!

Luke is at that age where he's old enough to start soccer! Last week he participated in Tiny Hawks soccer camp in Chelan. We had to leave the house each morning at 7:30 to make it there by 8...let me just say...that in itself was challenging! He had a great time though playing soccer with some of his good friends. The new friends we made were an added bonus! We also have art camp and nature camp coming up. This summer is flying by!
