Seahawk v Cardinals--our two favorite teams!

We had so much fun this past weekend in Seattle! We went to our very first ever pro football game. It just so happened that our two favorite teams, Seattle and the AZ Cardinals, were facing off in the Emerald City. Being that both teams are pretty so-so, we figured we had better go since it was the only time this season we were guaranteed a win by one of our teams. We got tickets on Craig's List and were pleasantly surprised by how awesome they were. We were only 3 rows back on the end zone..both teams' touchdowns happened right in front of us. We wore our Cards gear because we didn't actually own any Seahawks attire (yet). After spending about 5 minutes among a sea of blue and green and seeing a squabble between the only other two AZ fans and a couple Hawks guys a couple rows in front of us, I decided it was in our best interest to change and ran up and got us all new tees. $90 later we fit right in and suddenly were surrounded by friends.

It went from rainy and cold to sunny and warm and back again (why my hair looks so bad lol). We had world famous garlic fries, a Top Pot donut and Luke even got to pet the Seahawk as he went by. Sadly none of it was enough to keep Luke entertained passed halftime. We had a great time however and can't wait to do it again (without our precious son).

We spent two nights with Mimi (Parker's grandma) and Luke loved seeing his great grandmother. We went down to the beach in Edmonds and saw the ferry off. All in all we had a great family weekend. Enjoy!

Grammy and Grampy's Visit

Well my parent's visit came and went. It seemed like time dragged on when I was counting down the days until their arrival and now they're gone already. We all miss them so bad and can't wait til this winter when we get to spend some more time with them in NM. To soften the blow of them leaving, we took Luke to Chelan yesterday and had a picnic on the beach. He spent most of his time chasing the ducks but also managed to fill his bucket up with sand a few times.

Visiting Family

We've had so much fun with my mom and dad since they've been here. We even had the chance to head over to Port Angeles to visit my oldest brother and his family. My niece and nephew, Kylie and Kayden, are so sweet and loving to Luke. He had so much fun playing with his cousins.
My brother Dede (Mike) and I took the kids out to the Olympic Game Farm in Sequim. Boy were the animals friendly! We had a great time and the kids really enjoyed it too. The car was a little worse for the wear though...buffalo sure are a slobbery bunch!
